Cat’s head sandwiches

Cat’s head sandwiches
6 people
30 min

  • 125g Fromage Fouetté Madame Loïk Plain with sea salt of Guérande Paysan Breton
  • 12 slices of sandwich bread
  • 6 slices of ham
  • A few rocket leaves

  1. Use a pastry cutter to cut circles of 8 to 10cm diameter from each slice of sandwich bread.
  2. Still using a pastry cutter, cut the top of each piece of bread to form the ears. Use a knife to add the finishing touches.
  3. Spread each slice with Fromage Fouetté Madame Loïk Nature au Sel de Guérande.
  4. Cut the slices of ham into the same cat’s head shape using the pastry cutter.
  5. Place a slice of ham on 6 slices of bread.
  6. Add some rocket leaves and close with a slice of bread.
  7. Decorate each sandwich with olives to form the eyes, peppers to form the nose and chives cut in four to make the whiskers.
  8. Serve these sandwiches with carrot sticks
Paysan Breton tip

If you don’t have a round pastry cutter, use a jam jar and cut the slices with a knife. In summer, add some tomato slices to the sandwiches.
