Pound Cake in a Jar

Ingredients for :

4 people
Egg
4 Units Eggs
Flour
100 g Flour
Maïzena
100 g Maïzena
Powdered sugar
150 g Powdered sugar
Lemon
1 Unit Lemon
Baking powder
1 Teaspoon Baking powder

Method :

  1. Mix the eggs with the sugar until the batter becomes light and fluffy, then add the butter cut into small cubes.
  2. Fold in the cornstarch and flour, and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the lemon juice, then the baking powder, and mix again.
  4. Grease the jars and fill them halfway with the batter, then bake on the rack for 45 minutes at 160 °C (fan-assisted oven).
  5. Once baked, close the jars immediately.
  6. Now it’s ready to enjoy!
