Banana Split Crepe

Ingredients

  • 8 Paysan Breton Filled Crepes with chocolate and pieces of milk chocolate
  • 40g dark chocolate
  • 150ml Paysan Breton Thick Crème Fraîche
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flaked almonds
  • 1 knob of butter

Method

  1. Beat Paysan Breton Thick Crème Fraîche into whipped cream with the icing sugar.
  2. Peel bananas and cut into slices.
  3. Slowly melt chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.
  4. In a small frying pan, melt butter and brown banana slices with caster sugar.
  5. Toast flaked almonds in a dry frying pan.
  6. Serve two Paysan Breton Filled Crepes with chocolate and pieces of milk chocolate per person, add caramelised banana slices, top with melted chocolate.
  7. Add a bit of whipped Paysan Breton Thick Crème Fraîche to each plate and garnish with flaked almonds.
