Macaroni, Crab and Baguette Cheese Cream Au Gratin

Ingredients for :

4 people
Macaroni
200 g Macaronis
Guérande coarse sea salt
1 Pinch Guérande coarse sea salt
Salt, pepper
1 Pinch Salt, pepper
UHT Cream 30%
20 cl UHT Cream 30%
Green olive
20 g Green olives

2 Units Leeks

200 g Crabmeats

Method :

  1. Make Baguette cheese cream: cut Baguette cheese into small pieces. Slice olives. Wash and cut leeks into small sections. In a frying pan, melt Lightly Salted Moulded Butter and steam leeks, covered, for 10 minutes. Season. In a pan, melt cream and cheese together. Add olives, leek, flaked crab. Stir and keep hot.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 6).
  3. Bring a pan of salted water to a boil, cook macaroni until they are "al dente". Drain and mix together with the La Baguette cheese cream. Verify seasoning. Place on a dish and brown using the oven's grill.
  4. Serve!

Paysan Breton tip

Adapt this recipe according to what you have in your cupboards, if you don't have macaroni, use penne or conchiglioni! Instead of crab, use prawns or smoked salmon.
